Home Page Sections


Home Page Sections allow stores to customize the home page of their app or website. This allows a more personalized feel for customers as they browse the store's app or website. Once created, the new Home Page Section(s) will display below the Featured Products on the Home Page. This simple guide will explain how it works.  

 

On the left side of the Webconsole menu, click the Customization tab > Home Page Sections and then click “Add Section.”  

 

 

There are three types of Home Page Sections: 


(1) Banner Image: This creates a clickable image that takes customers to either a page of products (seltzers, for example) or an external website of the store's choosing (Facebook page, for example). 


  • The store can either upload their own image (size should be between 1915 X 275 to 1925 X 285 px Jpeg format) ...


  • OR


  • ... choose from Bottlecapps’ provided image library by clicking the box that says “Choose from Library,” in which case, a selection of images will appear towards the bottom.  


  • If “Product List” is chosen, select a category and then select the products you wish to display when the image is clicked by the customer. See green arrows below ... 

       

  • In this example, we chose the American Flag banner from the library and linked it to some Hard Seltzers. Here is how it will look to customers:

When the image is clicked, the chosen products are shown: 

 


The other two Home Page Section options are more straight forward:

New Arrivals:

Any new products added in the last 7 days will be displayed in this section


Product List:


Will simply display the list of products of store’s choosing 


NOTE: Each section created must have a Start and End date.  

Once set up, the Home Page Sections tab of the Webconsole will display all ACTIVE sections (with edit feature enabled) as well as EXPIRED sections. To modify and existing Section, click the EDIT button as shown by the green arrow below:
