How to create a Newsletter Form for your website



Go to https://mailchimp.com/ and sign up for an account. Once created, sign in using your credentials.


Access the pop-up signup form builder by following these steps:

  1. Click Audience, then click Signup forms.

  2. Select Subscriber pop-up.

If you would like to customize the appearance of your form, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Style to choose the fonts, font colors, and font size for your form.

  1. Click Layout to choose one of the popup designs.

  2. Click Settings to control how the pop-up will appear on your site.

  1. Hover over the image placeholder in your layout and click Set Image.

  2. Click the plus (+) icon to add each field you want to include in your form.


  3. Click on any form field to edit it.

  4. To reorder a form field, click the arrow icons to move it up or down.

  5. Click the Subscribe button to customize it. Highlight the button text to change it as needed.

  6. Click Preview to see how your form will appear to your visitors after it’s published.


  7. Click the mobile icon and desktop icon to see how your pop-up form will appear on different devices.


To add the form you created to your website, click on Connect Site.

Enter your website URL and click Get Started to generate a code snippet.

You’ll need to email this code along with your website URL to help@bottlecapps.com

Once you receive a confirmation from your Bottlecapps representative, return to the pop-up form builder on https://mailchimp.com/ and click on Check Connection. Once the verification is complete, you will notice that the popup form has been added to your website.

NOTE: Removing this code will remove the pop-up form from your site.
