Processing DoorDash or GrubHub Marketplace orders is simple on the Bottlecapps Webconsole (liquorapps.com). Here’s how:
In the Webconsole, click the ORDERS tab on the left to see all orders (these orders can be filtered by date range at the top). On this screen, the “Order Source” column will indicate where the order came from:
For each of these orders, the Order Number is on the left in blue, and the Status is on the right. When the order first comes in, it will be Pending. Click the Order Number on the left ...
That will take you to the Order Screen for that specific order. From here, you can either go ahead and Schedule for Delivery OR Modify the Order (which includes substitutions) ...
At this stage, if you need to modify the order OR substitute products, you can click the “Modify Order” button. From here, you can add products, adjust quantity, substitute products, or adjust the price in the “Special Discount” box:
Once you have finished modifying the order, you can either click “Save as Draft” or “Finalize Order.” If you click “Save as Draft,” you can still modify the order, but if you click the “Finalize Order” button, that will end the ability to modify.
After you’re done, click “Update Status to Scheduled for Delivery” and the customer will be notified.
NOTE FOR SELF-DELIVERY: Once the product has been delivered, manually update the status to “Delivered” and the order will now be updated in the Orders screen (where you can also click to see the Confirmation Number). The button looks like this:
IF DOORDASH or GRUBHUB IS DELIVERING THE PRODUCT(S), the store does NOT need to update the status by clicking the "Update Status to Delivered" button. After the store updates the status to "Scheduled for Delivery," DoorDash/GrubHub will handle the delivery of the goods and then update the status.
