How to add Shipping Zones and Rates to your Store.

How to add Shipping Zones and Rates to your Store.

Info

Using this method to configure your shipping fulfillment settings, you will not need to directly integrate UPS or ShipStation to Bottlecapps. You will be given the option to manually update the Tracking Number on each order after they are placed by the customer. You can follow these step to set up zones and rates to your specs.

1. Go to your Bottlecapps Dashboard https://liquorapps.com/Store/Index

2. Click "My Account".

3. Click "Shipping".

4. Select "Own Shipping" as Shipping Service Provider, then select Own Shipping as Primary Shipping Service Provider.

5. Scroll down to the Own Shipping area and click "Add Rate". This will open up the options for you to add different shipping rates for region/state specific zones.

6. Click the "Add Shipping Zone" field. This is going to be the title of your Shipping Zone. i.e Texas - Economy.

Warning

In this field, you'll only be able to add one Shipping Rate at a time. So if you want to have 3 rates (Express, Standard, Economy) to any given region/state, you'll need to recreate the Zone for each type.

7. Shipping Regions is where you will add the respective US States to this Zone.

For example: You may add a Zone called West Coast and add California, Oregon, Arizona, Washington, Nevada as "regions" (states).

8. Select the shipping rate option ("Express (1 to 2 days), Standard (3 to 4 days) or Economy (5 to 8 days)" for this Zone.

9. For each Shipping Rate, you have 2 Price Type options. Flat Rate (Example: $14.99 to this Zone > Rate always) OR Conditional Pricing (You will be able to change shipping price based on total cart weight or cart total).

10. If you choose Flat Rate, click "Done" when you've added your Shipping Price.

11. If you choose the "Conditional Pricing" field, you'll see options for Based on Item Weight and Based on Order Price.

Here, you'll select how you want to charge the shipping price based on these variables.

12. On either option, you'll enter your minimum and maximum parameters by clicking the "Min" and "Max" field options.

Example: You could add 1lbs min to 6lbs max for a set amount of $16.99. If the cart exceeds 6lbs, the system will charge the highest available shipping rate.

13. Click the field on the right to add the price for the corresponding weight range.

14. Click "+ Add More" if you'd like to add additional weight parameters to this zone.

15. Click "✖" on any zones that you wish to delete.

Idea

If you'd prefer to charge shipping based on Cart Total, tick the "Based on Order Price" bubble and proceed with the same steps as before.

16. Click the "Based on order price" field. Change your Min and Max parameters as well as your desired shipping price per range.

17. Click "Done" once you're one with all of your range settings.

18. If you want to add another Shipping option, click "Add Rate" again and start over.

When you're fully complete with these settings, make sure you scroll up to hit UPDATE. This will save your changes!
