SMS Marketing is a feature that allows stores to engage customers with personalized messages, special offers, promotions and updates. In this tutorial, we will explain how to use this feature.
To receive text messages, customers must first Opt-In to receive such communications. There are 3 main ways customers can do this when browsing a store’s website:
1) UPPER RIGHT:

From this page, you can choose:
Store Selection (if you have more than one location) – choose which of your stores’ customers you would like to send the text to.
Target Group – To send to all customers that have Opted-In, click All Customers
To send to specific SEGMENTED groups of customers (only bourbon drinkers, for example), you can create Segmented Groups. The groups you create will show up in the TARGET GROUP section. Here is how to set up Customer Segmentation.
SMS Message (Text Message) - this is where you create the message. You can include links, but no images or emojis. You can sent immediately or schedule for later. You can also send a TEST message to a phone number or your choosing.
Below this section, you can see a list of any scheduled messages as well as browse the history of messages you have previously sent.
