Gift Cards Guide

One of the best ways to add value to your platform is by way of GIFT CARDS. This is a great revenue-generating tool. Once you set up a Gift Card in your Webconsole (liquorapps.com), customers will see “Gift Cards” on your app (drop down menu) and website (tab on the top).

NOTE – app/website will need to be updated to the latest version.

This simple guide will show you how to set them up in your Webconsole.

First, you will notice the new tab call Gift Cards on your left-hand menu. Click here:

Then click here:

Then, enter the information in these boxes and select which stores this will apply to (if applicable):

NOTE 1 – For the “Weekly Max Gift Amount, sometimes Gift Cards can be used by fraudsters, so this is just an additional layer of protection for the store.

NOTE 2 - If/when Gift Cards expire with money left on them, that money goes to the store even if the money was not spent.

Once a Gift Card is set up, it will then show up for customers to see:

Once customers click there, they will see this screen where they can choose their gift amount/details/recipient:

Whatever has been set up here will display in the email of the recipient.

After the customer has completed payment and added the gift details, they will see this message (as well as receiving an email):

The person receiving the gift will see this email with a Gift Card Code:

At the bottom of the email is a button to SHOP that will take the customer to the website. After selecting their products, they will enter their Gift Card Code here to redeem:

There is also a button in the email as well as below the Gift Card Code box that allows customers to check their balance.

After the order is complete, this is how it will display to the store in their ORDERS tab of the Webconsole:

Lastly, in the Gift Cards tab of the Webconsole, you can see the total outstanding balance of Gift Cards that have been purchased.
